The NBA City Edition uniform concept was announced in 2017 as a co-effort between the Association and Nike, with a goal to “breathe new life into uniform designs to more closely connecting a franchise to its city,” according to the apparel company.
The initiative has been a massive success, too, as for the past four-plus seasons, every team has had unique, eye-catching new uniforms, each more creative and fun than the last.
