Azzi Fudd Signs Unique NIL Deal With SC30 INC

UConn freshman guard Azzi Fudd inked a multidimensional name, image, and likeness deal Tuesday with SC30 Inc, an athlete-run company that manages Stephen Curry’s off-court interests.

The partnership is the latest NIL opportunity Fudd has capitalized on after signing deals with Chipotle and Biosteele and appearing in a Tik Tok commercial with Allen Iverson.

Specifics about the deal were not released, but according to multiple reports, the deal is centered around Curry’s commitment to mentor Fudd as she prepares for her professional career, helping her build her brand, AZ35, and put her on to various opportunities through his numerous ventures.

“I want to hopefully be a mentor and open up the doors that have been opened for me to her,” Curry said per The Athletic, “and hopefully many more in the future. So it’s kind of dope to make a splash like that with somebody who has the same kind of values as I do. And her family has been amazing through this whole process. So I’m excited. It’s a lot of unknowns going into it, but it’s all about just creating opportunities for her.”

It will also give Fudd chances to host and attend events and be part of new brand partnerships and deliver her personal social impact initiatives while also promoting and being involved in some of those dear to Curry and his family.

Fudd and Curry first connected in 2018 when Fudd was one of only two girls basketball players invited to his SC30 Select Camp prestigious camp (along with Stanford’s Cameron Brink). Fudd won the 3-point contest and then challenged Curry for the ultimate crown, holding her own but ultimately losing 20-16.

“Since I first met Steph at his camp a few years ago, I’ve stayed connected to him and have always admired his incredible talent and accomplishments, but also his humility and the impact he has on people,” Fudd said per ESPN. “As I continue to focus on becoming the best player and student I can be while in college, I also look forward to broadening my understanding of business and life beyond basketball. This partnership with Steph and his SC30 team will help me do that. I’m really excited about everything we’ll do together in the future.”
