REPORT: Bulls’ Zach LaVine to see Knee Specialist This Week

Amidst a spectacular season by the Chicago Bulls, their star guard Zach LaVine LaVine has been experiencing discomfort in his left knee for several weeks. Despite an MRI last month showing no structural damage, there’s a level of concern within the organization, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski

As such, LaVine will be traveling to Los Angeles this week to see a specialist for a further evaluation of his knee. For the Bulls, a healthy LaVine will be crucial in the postseason as they have championship aspirations.

Even with all of this going on, LaVine is still planning to participate in All-Star Weekend, which will take place later this week, starting on Feb. 18. He earned the honor of participant in the All-Star game by averaging 24.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists on the season thus far.

LaVine has emerged as one of the premier guards in the NBA at this point.
